Michael Lindsay
When I was
5 years old a family friend gave me a brownie camera and my
sister a basket of fruit...I've been photographing ever since.
(My sister was not as happy with her gift).
I had my first darkroom
in the 7th grade, studied journalism in college and
trained at a commercial photography trade school. After
working at other studios for a number of years I opened my first
studio from my home in 1992 and in 1998 moved to our
present location. |

My shooting style is a journalistic approach. I
capture moments in real time with an emphasis on getting
to know the client, listening to their needs and
structuring
the shoot to meet those needs. My goal is to make the
experience fun and relaxed while maintaining a high level of
professionalism. |

I have worked
with Michael for over 10 years and have experience in family
portraiture, weddings, childbirth/newborn photography and
musical performance.

For me, an informal
approach to photography produces a more real image. The
key to capturing a quality image is to create a comfortable
atmosphere where the client can be themselves and where I can
produce photographs that express the real individual. My
goal is not for you to be the object of my photography but for
me to be the photographer that captures the moment. |
